Terchoonian Children’s Home Foundation

During the summer of 2004, a group of volunteers applied for and received non-profit charitable organization status for the Terchoonian Children’s Home Foundation, a charitable organization established solely to raise money and send supplies to the Terchoonian orphanage in Armenia. Because this organization runs with volunteer staff and donated space, all of the money that is raised directly benefits the orphanage.

To date, the Terchoonian Children’s Home Foundation has sent 15 shipments to the orphanage, including 2 overseas containers filled with 165 boxes and 5 pallets of merchandise, over 20,600 pounds of clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, toys, and sports equipment. These shipments were made possible with the help of the Lincy Foundation and the United Armenian Fund (UAF). The Foundation has also sponsored or co-sponsored several fundraising activities ( see EVENTS ).
